Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Here, we answer the following questions:

  • Why did DawgRun change?
  • Why does it say georgia.sportswar.com instead of DawgRun.com?
  • Will my old DawgRun.com account work? Can I still post on the boards?
  • Who’s in charge?
  • What’s in store for DawgRun?

Why did DawgRun change?

DawgRun’s programming was really, really, really old. Our parent company, SportsWar, created a new platform using newer technology, and it was time for us to move to it.

Why does it say georgia.sportswar.com instead of DawgRun.com?

On SportsWar’s new technology platform, each site is a subdomain of sportswar.com, where the subdomain is the name of the school the site covers (you know, like all the Rivals, Scout, and 247Sports sites). So we’re now georgia.sportswar.com.

Will my old DawgRun.com account work? Can I still post on the boards?

You should be able to log into this site with your old DawgRun.com info and start posting right away. If not, email us at [email protected], and we’ll help.

Who’s in charge?

Well, for years, TheDawgfather and SSDawg were in charge, but now all the administering of the site (message board monitoring, etc.) is done at the SportsWar home office.

Before you come to the conclusion that we ran those guys off … we didn’t. We offered both of them the opportunity to keep running the new site, and they both politely declined. But they’ll still be around, posting on the new site with you.

What’s in store for DawgRun?

We’d like to turn DawgRun into a content site! We’re looking for contributors, or — preferably — a full blown site host. If you’ve got something to say about the Dawgs, and think you want to run a site, please visit SportsWar.com and read So you want to run a SportsWar site?

If you think you’ve got what it takes after reading that, email us at [email protected], and we’ll talk.
