He may have been thinking about it before kickoff, but when we scored again to go up 45-7 early in the 3rd he was retired from that point forward, which is why he left in his starters to score his garbage points. From then on player development was the next guy’s problem - all he cared about at that point was protecting his fragile “genius” psyche.

The primacy of the UGA rivalry is drilled into Tech students from day one - for many it’s literally the majority of their concern. And he knew it wasn’t going to get any closer anytime soon so he up and RUNNOFT.
