Believe it or not, he left Miami better than he found it...
During his 3 years, they did a few things that will set the table well for Diaz.
1) They ended their losing streak to FSU, beating them twice in a row.
2) They won a bowl game for the first time in a decade.
3) They won the Coastal for the first time ever.
4) His 15 game win streak reminded folks that Miami still has potential as a program and they experienced a resurgence in fan interest.
5) Richt got the indoor practice facility done, and put up 1 million of his own money.
6) He brought Diaz to Miami, who put a nasty defense on the field for the first time in a while.
His offense is still a dumpster fire, same as always. They had an awful 2018. He quit, and there's no other way to say it. But I think Miami is actually better off for having Richt for these three years. It's up to Diaz to now advance the ball.
