I think our new HC should hire his own staff . . .


So far he has hired an incredibly seasoned veteran at OC and arguably the best OL coach in the nation.

He is retaining what many consider to be the best DL coach in the nation in Rocker. (I will believe that when the dust settles. The NFL will certainly come calling.)

He has also retained Sherrer, with whom he has worked in the past. It is said that as a coach, he is Pruitt without the temper tantrums. As a recruiter, maybe not.

If you did not want to see CMR get fired, I can certainly understand your desire to keep the old gang intact.

I like BMac and Brown. But they both got promotions to leave. And there is bad blood between Kirby and BMac. That can't be undone with a handshake.

If you thought change was needed, let the man do his work. He has learned from the best. That is why we hired him.
