the cessation of Syrian immigrants is little more than campaign rhetoric, provided as red meat fodder for a portion of the Pubs that are clearly anti-establishment. Point being, neither will ever occur. Trump doesn't and likely won't garner more than 40% support from his own party. Should some miracle occur that provides him the Oval, he will have to content not only with the Dems, but his own party defectors standing in opposition to his "Make 'Merica Great Again" nonsense.

I liked some of Kasich's platform. He just never caught fire and likely never will. From the onset, I was a strong supporter of Jim Webb, who also seemed to be covered in asbestos. I stand by what I said regarding Trump. Regardless whether he receives the Pub nomination or manages to become POTUS, he is the bellwether for a party with a terminal prognosis!

Perhaps this is a necessity to right the course of a once proud and well grounded political party.
