You are one of those that look doe-eyed at the Reagan years. No, he didn't get us involved in an ill advised, protracted war. What he did was bankrupt the Russians with huge increases in military spending. He likewise oversaw the single most corrupt government in the history of this Nation, brokered illegitimate, if not unlawful deals with foreign countries and helped fund/wage an illegal war. Reagan surrounded himself with the very people that later influenced Daddy and DumbYa Bush.

Reagan was a puppet, a face man, but one with a medical diagnosis that would render him malleable. Think for himself?...Perhaps in his early years....and by today's standards Reagan would be a moderate dem.
