You and I both had sons there. My eldest did one tour. Got either the bronze or silver star, but thankfully no purple heart.
Ridiculous your son did three tours. That had to be mental exhaustion.
We're probably similar in that we both did military service, along with our parents and children. I think it's an obligation of citizens.
For the whiny crowd that want free college, they can get it. Join the military. Get an honorable discharge, and free education is yours.
