I don't know your Dr, but I don't buy the reporting excuse

Obviously I don't know who your Dr is or any of the circumstances of his retirement, but I'm not really anywhere close to believing that any additional IT or reporting requirements are cost prohibitive enough to push someone out of the business. When I hear Dr's say that, I translate it to mean: "I can't hide my kickbacks anymore, so I'll just take my cushy retirement a little bit earlier than planned".
