Yes, it is sad


My Dad was in WWII, and he never spoke of that war. My Uncle was a 19 year old Signalman First Class on the USS Vincennes during the Battle of Guadalcanal. He went down with his ship, and my mom cried for him many times. They were very close.

Our greatest generation.
