It just depends on what you wanna do as an Offense


I think it's a no brainer that you want a guy that can do as many things as possible at a high level. Russel Wilson, Cam Newton, Lamar Jackson, and Jalen Hurts can all read, throw, and run at a high level which makes them very difficult to defend.

Jacob Eason is going to be a fantastic pocket qb but he will never scare a D coordinator with his legs.

As far as recruiting ranking, from what I understand they rate QBs separately as "duel threat" and "pocket" JE was number 2 pocket (Ole Siss got number 1). Not sure where Hurts ranked.

You nailed it though, if JE had Bama's Oline and WRs he would be doing much better. His number one asset though that makes me very excited is his nerve/composure. I think he will end up being a very nice combo of Greene and Stafford.
