I am tired of waiting every season since 1982 for even a sniff at a Natty. I guess you could say 2012 was close, but again - we always wet the bed with someone EVERY YEAR or have some sort of bad luck! We have to pray that UT or UF loses or Mizzou, etc. That is no way to be successful. Obtain success by being the best you can be EACH and EVERY DAY!

We better grow up fast and recruit like crazy, because I am over waiting and I not getting any younger. I want to be at least in the hunt every 3 to 4 years LATE in the season for an SECCG appearance and for a playoff / natty chance at least once a decade. Is that too much to ask? I think not!

I will always pull for and love my Dawgs - even if we lose a bunch, though. I recognize college football is very tough to come out on top and know that the SEC is a buzzsaw that Meechigan, FSU, tOSU and others don't have to deal with. I also am being patient for our new coach/staff and understanding that he and our frosh QB Eason will have many things to learn in the first few seasons.

The keys (as I see it) to building this thing into what i want:

1A) Beat Florida EVERY YEAR!

1B) RECRUIT at the highest level possible EVERY year. Recruit 4* & 5*s, but also men of character and solid backgrounds.

2) RECRUIT Big, nasty, in shape/mold-able O-line and D-line EVERY YEAR!!! This is important & CMR rarely did it well. I like Pittman and think we are well on our way here with a nice class next year.

3) Learn from our past blunders. NO MORE POOCH OR SKY KICKS - LIKE EVER, EVER AGAIN! Practice ST's more than other teams and put an emphasis on it. Recruit excellent punters and kickers and give them scholly's.

4) Learn from coaching mistakes and player mistakes EVERY week and get better. if we do the same thing over and over again it is the definition of... well - you know.

5) Have a REAL plan of change if things don't go well in the first half. Change the game plan to exploit areas of weakness from your opponent and play HARDER in the 4th quarter than any other part of the game - this goes back to S & C. UGA should OWN every 4th quarter in the SEC if we want to get to SECCG. Play until the FINAL play is OVER and victory is accomplished. Never, ever give up. Finally, practice knocking down Hail Mary passes, creating fumbles and other end of game plays & offensive 1 minute drills at least 3 times EVERY week. Talk about "celebration / targeting" penalties and taking helmet's off, etc. often. Post it in the locker room and read it every day. Talk about it at half time. NO MORE of that!!! It has cost UGA too many times! Show videos of HW and how he did it. That was a humble dude and he represented UGA very well.

6) Recruit some DB's and WR's that are tall and can jump. We always lack this, it seems - since AJ and Champ.

7) Create team unity and cohesiveness (mostly done by coaches!)

8) Get a nastiness / junkyard Dawg mentality somehow - like when Erk was coaching. Do we have anyone that can do this now? If not - get someone!

9) Develop the QB and play to his strength with the game plan. Change it up if things are not working. Inspire and motivate the QB and other team leaders to lead the team and to keep everyone in line. This one is VERY important.

10) Get the Redcoats some new material - please. They play the same ole stuff every year - shake it up a bit and get something the fans can rally around. I know this sounds crazy, but I think they help win tight games. We need some new, awesome juice it up songs.

11) Break through. Break through - BREAK THROUGH!!! Climb the mountain. Set goals high and milestones to get there. Be mentally and physically tougher than ANYONE! Get to the SECCG and win it! It can be done.
