There was a great amount of dislike towards both candidates, so either result was not going to shock me - regardless of what the polls said.

I agree with NC that he does not deserve anyone's support any more than the level of support the opposition gave Obama for the last 8 years. First and foremost Trump is a con man, and he conned a lot of voters into voting for him - the majority of whom are uneducated. He does not care about America, he cares about Donald Trump. A lot of people fell for his nonsense.

If he indeed delivers on the many promises he made during this campaign, I will of course support him. But not one second before that. He will have to prove himself. And I have good reason to have my doubts.
