I think this board is small enough to where we don't devolve into just a bunch of stupid shouting matches. One thing that's bothered me about politics over the last 25 years or so is that people assume the worst in "the other side". The left sees Republicans as a bunch of racists, and the right sees the Democrats as a bunch of Communists. Everyone assumes that the other side is destroying America. I think it's created a toxic environment, and made it hard for either party to govern.

I'll try and keep it real here and not over-react to everything Trump says and does. He deserves a chance to govern, because he won the election. I hope everyone is able to put aside their biases enough to take him to task for the bad and praise him for the good.
