I may have bashed his shot selection and his D. Both of which are not very good. But he is a better alternative to Turtle Jackson whom I think is god awful. And I think Crump's shortcomings are in part due to the inconsistent playing time he has gotten. Does he need to work on shot selections? Absolutely. Anyone who doesn't think that know nothing about basketball. Should he have worked his ass off this offseason to be the starting PG this year? Absolutely. Did he? Who knows. Who knows if it's on him or Fox. They or 1 of them may have instead envisioned him as a 2 instead. But I would have much rather have seen him get time throughout the season at PG. Right now is a little too late. Not just cause the seasons over. Cause he's already been crippled for this season. The Auburn game, too little too late. He should have been getting minutes from the start. Far from a bash on him. Especially since he has a poor shot selection and plays poor defense. He's just a better option though than Turtle Jackson.
