When your under as much stress as this coaching staff was under, and things don't go as you had hopped, many issues get blown out of proportion. No doubt there were some staff issues during year, but would point out a few things:

1. Several of the defensive assistants, not just Pruitt were lobbying hard after Tech game to give entire staff another year. If it were so bad, why were they lobbying to stay.
2. Human Nature - when you don't get retained, and you are headed somewhere else you advise your were probably headed somewhere else anyways. (see this all time with layoffs)
3. Fits the narrative to folks that wanted Richt gone - mainly talking about the higher ups that were making the decisions and folks talking to Fran and such. Wanted to paint program is disarray to squash any potential decenters.

Would also note, we finished season against Auburn, GSU and Tech playing some fairly solid football. Not sure we could and would have won those games if our staff was in such disarray and so much Mutiny going on.

Again, not arguing there may have been less cohesion than in past, and perhaps some things went over the line, but suspect if Richt were retained, most of guys on staff would have been back with the exception of offensive coordination. Water over bridge at this point but just my take.......
