Bad back issues. Couldn't travel because of it to recruit. Apparently his intensity during practices also went way down. He supposedly used to participate in drills and such. Obviously he couldn't do that anymore the last 3 or so years there.

Everything out there now is the year off did wonders for him and he's great. The downside is what if his back goes out on him in 2 years? That could be a big issue. The upside is tremendous. He already turned one football school into national title contenders. And they were coming off sanctions. Weren't eligible for the tourney his first season there. So very high risk with his back. But high reward if he can stay healthy for 8-12 years or so
