He is doing pretty much whatever he can to maximize the roster. His 1st season, he brought in current NFL players Maurice Smith (from Alabama) and Tyler Catalina as graduate transfers, who both started for us. Last year he brought in Cameron Nizialek, who was 9th in the nation in punting average, and Ahkil Crumpton, who contributed at WR and returner. This year, he brought in Jay Hayes at DL and Demetris Robertson at WR - two complete studs at probably the only positions where we even come close to having depth issues. If DRob gets that waiver, look out!

Machine is right. Seriously, how many times under Richt did we go into a season well under the 85 scholly limit? Kirby is filling those spots, and filling them not just with warm bodies, but with studs. Dude is absolutely driven.
