I’ll start by saying this almost definitely won’t happen BUT

Looking at the recruiting profile that CKS is possibly looking to bring two 2019 QBs in this year, which many have read the tea leaves to mean that Fields may be leaving, I think it could be insurance that will help CKS be able to redshirt Fields next year to separate him from Fromm more. It worked for Mason and Murry and shows a proof of concept.

I think the idea could be to get two 2019 guys in here and see if either of them can be a competent back up that can get a lot of work next season to prepare him to be Fields backup moving forward.

It’s not completely crazy guys and gals.
