Fully understand the sentiments but notice no player has opted out of The Playoffs. This is an unintended consequence of Playoffs.

Last year LSU had a kid who had grown up almost homeless, already had fathered a kid, expecting o be a First Round pick, sit out. His not playing guaranteed him a life of wealth, playing woudda put that life at risk. Rich vs Flipping Burgers, not an unreasonable choice.

OTOH one can buy insurance, cost is small compared to what it insures. But some of these kids don't trust insurance. Trevor Lawrence has a $5mil Ins Policy that pays if he is injured and unable to play in the NFL.
