I am partly to blame for this Evans mess as I was tied to the recruiting hullaballoo with him last season, but I have to defend myself and say that was before his first suspsension his senior season. I was willing to give him a 2nd chance but those gloves came off after his 2nd suspension and way before finding out he could not qualify. So, LOL if UF tries to get this guy into school that will be a joke in and of itself.

Taking a step back from this, it is perhaps reason enough to adjust the recruiting fever and try to find good character kids only, damn the ultra-talented big egos who already are shown to be headcases, skip that, skip that, skip that. Just would like to skip that.

Having said all the above, there is still a part of me that only wishes well for the kid, that somehow he learns humility and gets his head straight, or it will have a been a terrible waste of talent on the level of Marcus Dupree. UGA recruiting of RBs from the Houston area under Smart has had some weird developments (the 2017 commitment that was dropped late thanks to Michel and Chubb returning, gotta think some karmic crap is happening).
