I'll defer to Kirby on this one.

Smart has navigated these waters before, so I'll trust his decision. I'm sure he's doing what he needs to in order to vet the kid. And yes, he's a great talent, but so is Zeus. So is Cook. So is McIntosh. So is Milton. So is ... well, you get the idea. If/when Evans shows up here and takes a gander at the NFL talent in our backfield, maybe that light will click that here at RBU, we don't play when it comes to RBs. Get with the program, or good luck somewhere else.
