A little Christmas present ?
By Joe Vitale:
Lyndell Wilson, the nation’s top ranked outside linebacker in the class of 2016, has released his top three schools. Wilson, a senior at Carver High School (Montgomery, Ala.) had not shown the University of Georgia much love until recently, when UGA hired new head coach Kirby Smart. Smart had personally been recruiting the outside linebacker to Alabama, since Wilson’s 9th grade year.
Wilson announced on Twitter that he has a top three of Florida, Alabama and Georgia. (Those schools are indeed in order). He will take official visits to each of those schools, with a visit to Athens coming on Friday, January 15th and lasting until Sunday, the 17th.
At 6’2″ and 22o pounds, Wilson ranks as the nation’s 13th overall player for the class of 2016, nation’s No. 1 outside linebacker and ranks as the No. 2 overall player in the talent-rich state of Alabama. He recently told SEC Country, “the chances of me going to Georgia could be pretty good. It just depends on how my recruitment goes with him.”
