The sad thing is (imo), thanks to Adams, the


BOR and big $$ donors have far more power than they need to have in athletics. The BOR is to be an academic oversight committee basically. They have ZERO business being involved in the Athletic Dept, a separate entity. (supposedly and why they get away with being a non profit) They are appointed by the Gov. It's gotten FAR too political, imo.

And is why Adams got away with all he got away with. If you've never read Behind the Hedges............DO.
