leave you hanging, there is a difference between an entirely new staff that has a month or so to work on a recruiting class, letting a few previously committed kids go that they don't think will cut it, even if it means having less than the max signees in the first year, than an entrenched staff repeatedly recruiting and signing fewer than the max in several consecutive years.

Besides, we never know all that much until the faxes come in so maybe the Smart regime will indeed sign 25 kids in this class and my previous point about a potentially smaller class will be moot.
