Or do what Clemson did with Watson his freshman year

They kind of eased him in. Gave him a few snaps each game early on. Kept increasing his snaps as the season progressed and he eventually took over full time as the starter. I don't think UGA is really a contender for anything this year. They don't have the OL, QB, or WRs to do anything. So starting Lambert to start the year while easing Eason into the full time roll might be the best way to develop him for the future.
