Didn't they throw it more than they ran it?...


Bobby Bowden had a chance to join the SEC, but went with the ACC...and was quoted saying it would be a lot easier to win in the ACC. I'm not sure their OL was all star quality, but I do remember Bowden going after the "beef" in recruiting. He did so knowing he was going to need some big uglies to compete with the big teams. It worked too.
