Wrong. Failing to win this 3-yr dumpster fire was bad. (The back-to-back UF debacles were the last straw.) But he would still be here despite that if he'd won an SECC (or 2) a few years prior to that.

No SEC Titles in 10 years (yrs 6-15 of his tenure) is why he's gone.
