I think he wants to achieve somethng academically, so good for him.

At this point it looks like he set a goal and has the determination to work at it until he gets it or can't work at it any more. Speaks well for his character and ethic, imo. Whether it means he'll eventually go to Stanford, UGA or Notre Dame, who knows but I respect the heck out of this kid.
