Does it happen? I'm sure. How prevalent is it though?

As an example, our COA is over twice the amount of Southern California but we still lost Price. We also got a couple of guys who were at one point leaning towards Bama or Auburn and they have a higher COA than us.

Again, I'm sure some football recruit has made that the determining factor but I highly doubt it's common place.
