KM deal is a clear case of "outside looking in"
Since KM was a freshman, Georgia fans have been singing his praises (and as already discussed, some wondered last year why he wasn't getting the ball more, my theory below) but rival teams/outsiders would say that KM wasn't a high end SEC RB. Now everyone is "amazed" that KM sat on the bench and didnt do more for Georgia.
The truth as I see it is that most UGA fans found KM was fast the summer he came in and beat MM in that unofficial race. The problem was KM suffered from two of the things Richard Samuel suffered from (one less-so than the other) bad balance and lack-of-vision. RS suffered far more than KM at these two things but that will be KM's biggest challenge in the NFL.
I also believe in my heart that CMR didnt want to get KM hurt in his "contract year" at UGA. I think CMR knew that KM's ability at the combine would get him drafted.
Anyway, I'll stop kicking this deceased horse now.
