I was being hammered for using Rev for CMR and still do not understand. At the church we attend in Fayette County, a number of us referred to CMR as the Rev back when his first trip as UGA coach and missionary. Not uncommon at tailgates when discussing whether the Rev would show up or whether CMR would hammer the opponent until the game was out of reach. I will not make that mistake here, again. And please, I am only using it here in an explanatory manner.

And like you, I have seen much worse things than referring to someone being on a period but then again it was uncalled for by me. I have seen this phrase used here before without the outcry. Bad day I guess. But still, I am sincere in my apology.

Different times I suppose. My ball coaches got in my face and asked me what kind of p&$##% tackle was that and that might result in a firing today. Of course, we were running gassers in pads for what seemed like hours in the heat of the summer sun in S. Georgia. Doubt he could do that today either. We ran until there were a few puking. Slow day.
