Our drug policies are not changing anytime soon.


What needs to change is the SEC and the NCAA. There has been a need for a uniform code for years. Yet, the powers that be sit on their hands. Smoking pot rules are really the only issue. Have we ever had a suspension for any other drug? With many states taking up the legality of Marijuana, there is a need to look at the harshness of our rules across the NCAA. In any case, if a reasonable rule set is implemented across the board, we will fall in line. I doubt we would maintain our strict policy above rules that treat everyone the same.
