Even remember the late 50s when Elvis first started.
I use to feel like you, but I've just come to the conclusion that music is generational. I don't care for today's music though I can listing to some of it, But it's not made for us.
It's for the young generation who want to express there feelings during there generation of growth.
I sure did like the late 60s and early 70s. The British bands in particular. They had taken the blues and adapted it to some fine rock and roll. Much like the 50s when Presley, Lewis, Little Richard, and Holly were gearing it up for new style of music based on gospel/soul/country but with a whole new beat.
Still listen to it today.
