Our best talent is in the under classmen, and they've still got a ways to go re: learning & experience. I was hoping we were closing in on the middle of the conference in terms of overall talent. That might still prove to be true by the end of the year. Perno left us in a deep, deep hole.

But we are nowhere near as good as the upper half of the league, which happen to be mostly national powerhouses. We are going to get drilled mercilessly by those teams.

Got to hope those series won't be too disheartening to the young guys, and they can scratch out some success vs the lower half.

Long way to go for UGA Baseball. Need better talent everywhere.
