Its all about recruiting


Fox can coach, but he needs to bring in the better in-state talent. The 4 guys we relied on this season were all 3-star recruits (Mann, Gaines, Maten, & JJ). Our talent level was the 2nd worst in the league.

Ogbeide was a 4-star guy, but of course was hurt early in the season. He came on pretty well later in the year. With the two 4-star guys coming in, and Ogbeide, Maten & JJ back, we should show improvement for next year. If Parker can recover, and Turtle, Wilridge, and Edwards can show the typical Fr-Soph improvement, we'll have much better depth to boot.

But it all comes down to recruiting. If Fox can make a habit of signing a couple 4-star in-state guys like this year - plus the occasional 5-star (like KCP) - he'll have us dancing every year. If he can't we need to hire someone who can. Simple as that.
