Have you seen many of his practices?


Because I haven't. Yesterday is the only time I've seen him. So yes, it could have been a complete fluke. But I've seen plenty of Lambert and a fair amount of Ramsey. Robinson's fundamentals, his mechanics, his pocket presence, were all noticeably better than what I've seen from Lambert or Ramsey. He had better foot speed and made better reads. Some guys progress, some guys regress.

As for the "lesser competition", who was he going against? I know Trent Thompson, Rico McGraw, Lorenzo Carter, J Ledbetter, Natrez Patrick and J Atkins were all out there on that drive, so it wasn't just our scrubs. And I'm not sure the other guys went against the 1s all day either.

I know it was just one drive in window-dressed scrimmage for the fans, but he was the biggest surprise I saw out there.
