The appeal of Trump has nothing to do with losing faith in the “establishment” - that’s the same tired old excuse everyone always gives when the incumbent is from the other party (heck, they said that about Martin Van Buren when Harrison was elected).

No one in their right mind really thinks Trump will try to do the right thing. They just try to come up with some ridiculous excuse to rationalize their blind support of the GOP. Trump will do what’s right for Donald Trump. He doesn’t give a rat’s a$$ about HomeDawg, or valleydawg, or gulfport, or any other hard working American. To believe otherwise is a fool’s errand.

Like every Republican President before him, he does not care if the economy goes into recession, and the value of most people’s 401K and college savings plans take the subsequent nose dive. And to date, every single word he’s said about how he’ll run the country has been nothing short of the lunatic rantings of a deranged egomaniac. For all of Hillary’s faults, and yes there are many, anyone who is more comfortable with Trump has a serious break with reality.
