"Ears" Whitworth was a great line coach, but a poor HC.

He was a great asset to the Georgia teams of the 1940's and especially to the 1959 SEC team. Died in 1960.

Was average at best at Oklahoma A&M (State) before Alabama took him. Played for Bama.
