It's the smart (no pun intended) play. Lambert may not

wow anybody and simply must be better on third down but to be fair, his receivers dropped a lot of balls on key downs last year. Plus, he was hurried into the starting position so one would think he'd show improvement after a year of play and all of spring and fall practice. Actually utilizing the TE's will help Lambert a whole bunch too. Hoping, expecting, that Cheney puts Eason on the field when the field position or score or both provide for it.
