We were instructed year after year after year to spend it or lose it. It is a BS policy put in place for who knows what reason. It impacts research, students, athletics, etc. And, since when are school supplies exempted from book money? I can see an issue if they were cashing it out via purchases/returns etc. as was done by many, years ago. But they spent the money at the campus bookstore for school necessities. Even electronics at most schools, outside of phones, are considered necessities these days...tablets, computers, recorders, calculators, etc. Has anyone priced a college level scientific calculator lately? They are in the $130 range. Hell, we had to buy one with non-existent funds for my son in high school. Required.

I dunno but this seems like NCAA overreach, as is par for the course. We need a new governing body built from the ground up. Scrap this corporate overlord garbage that the NCAA has become.

I have no horse in this race but can you imagine the possible injuries with all of your starting OL suspended against FSU?!! Good grief.
