If the team can rebound, and learn a lesson from this, it may be......


.....a blessing in disguise. If the leaders on this team step up and take charge of the younger players, the rest of the season sets up nicely.

With a "get-able" game on Saturday, it's a good way to learn how to win on the road, which is the most difficult place to win. With Ole Miss taking on 'Bama this week, if they happen to win, it could be a good time for a letdown the next week (of course, the same thing could happen to us, however if we lose in Oxford, it won't hurt as bad if we rebound against UT).

This virtual loss to Nicholls could jump-start us. I like how Kirby is going about his business, at least publicly. How he runs the ship during practice isn't known, but as the son of a coach, I think he has an innate knowledge of working with kids.

There's much to look forward to.
