No issues with Kirby Hire but we would NOT be 1-3

Under Richt, I suspect 3-1 or 2-2 and if we had Richt @ OC and Pruitt @ DC we would have played Old Miss a solid game. Richt's issues at this point seem to be down to two:

1. Overall recruiting - clearly this roster is NOT top of SEC
2, Roster management - new age, if you can't contribute you can't hold up a slot and have to ease out after 2 or 3 years. Way to many non-contributors on this roster.

Some of the other things he got jacked up and criticized for are somewhat debatable in light of what we have seen thus far:

A. having his team ready to play, (solid job in last 2 years except for 2nd half against Florida, certainly no issues like we saw in 2nd and 4th games)
B, Coaching the team up (not sure how we won 10 games last year in SPITE of the roster)
C. Special teams - I would argue the 2014 and 2015 versions are > than 2016
D. Overall staff - 2014 staff laps the 2016 staff. 2015 similar to 2016 staff, no idea what a Richt staff at UGA would have been for 2016, probably similar to what we have now.

As I have said before, I have no issues with Kirby, he just needs to get the defense going, continue to recruit, and take a long look at his OC at end of year.
