The hope is Kirby can recruit, no valid excuses for


losing to Vandy ever. Loses like this happened to every coach that ever coached at UGA. If Kirby can't recruit at top 5 level for the next 2-3 years, then that could be a big problem. As of today the 2017 class is top 5 and trending up. As for this year, Dawgs could lose 3 more games UF, Aub, and Tech. They have the talent to beat any of those teams, just have to play it out. If they lose 2-3 more games I think it helps recruiting, but the UGA fan base will be crushed. Kirby has a plan, and it will take time, most fans are only interested in the last game, no matter we all have to wait and play out this season and see what happens. In todays ESPN world of college football, if you are not in or close to top 4 teams in playoff the you are mostly irrelevant, so really makes no difference what other Bowl you are in.
