It was inevitable that a comparison to Tech's stats vs. Vandy would come up. Tech played Vandy like they (Tech) were still in the SEC, or like how UGA used to put the smack down on Vandy. I can guess probably accurately that the game vs. an SEC opponent meant more to Tech than it did to UGA, although it should not have.

Georgia has, for one reason or another, lost more times to Vandy in the last 2 decades than they have to Auburn, which is only attributable to the fact that you simply cannot half-ass games in this conference. When you half-ass, even when you get away with it (i.e., Nichols State) it sets up more half-ass down range.

It may take until some point next year, but I think eventually our players will realize that field conduct, including dumb mistakes and penalties and not giving 100%, is costly. At some point that just has to finally sink in.
