Read the article everyone is talking bout below. It's yet another proof that Kirby is having to gut the attitude of the previous regime. The reports have been there from the beginning. Entitled upperclassmen missing their county club buddy coach.

Now Kirby has definitely underachieved with the Nichols & Vandy games, no doubt. That's on him. But he's a rookie coach with a Fr QB and a CLEAR LACK of SEC caliber OTs & WRs.

We had zero OTs (from Richt) ready to play this year. Zero. Pyke is a good guard. He's a terrible OT. Pyke could start on most SEC teams as a guard. Hardly any as a tackle. He's just overmatched at tackle... And there's the main "NFL" OL you talk about. Overmatched & horribly out of position bc there was NOBDODY else that Richt left at OT.

And then Catelina! A div 2 guy walks into Athens and wins the LT spot??? He's just terrible. He would not start for any other team in the SEC. Brutally bad. How does he walk in here? Bc there was NOBODY else that Richt left at OT.

The fact you refuse to accept the facts of the roster faults at OL, WR, DB (Kirby warned us about that first thing) & overall depth just means your sticking your fingers in your ears yelling for Richt.

Kirby has not done a great job coaching so far, but it is a seperarate fact that he does indeed have to gut some attitude AND some of the roster. We need to realize the situation & give him the same time you would afford any other new coach (rookie or not) that would be faced with so much work to do here.

The goal is not what happens this year. It's about a better & different kind of program 2-3 years down the road, built for the long haul.

Or you can keep sitting down screaming about Richt like a spoiled kid. You got that nailed.
