To me, Chaney looks out-of-date....
Running power football up the middle when it's been stuffed the better part of a season makes him look stubborn and too old-school. Of course, Eason is liable to need a shrink after this season, as much as he's running for his life.
I know they won't do this, but they should consider building an offense around a running quarterback. Dual threat QB's are the wave of the future in college football. Even Bama has finally realized that. Don't get me wrong. Eason will probably play in the NFL. But colleges all around the South are getting it done with running QB's.
It always surprised me that Mark Richt didn't learn from his Charlie Ward and DJ Shockley years in that regard. His best championship offenses were around running QB's.
