The OL is clearly overmatched this year. The Fla game was above & beyond the biggest butt kicking of a Georgia OL I've ever seen. Watch the game again. Don't look at the skill players. Just watch the OL get pushed back on the running plays, and get abused worse on the drop backs. It was insane. Eason running for his life 3 out of 4 drop backs.

That said, the OC has done a poor job scheming around the OL issues. He insists on running up the gut vs 8/9 man fronts. If we are inside our own 25, he absolutely REFUSES to do anything else but run on 1st & 2nd down. The other team KNOWS this, stacks the box, and we are left with 3rd & 8. Which is now an OBVIOUS passing down, so they pin their ears back which puts our horrible OTs at a huge disadvantage. Chaney sucks, imo.

Again, where are the screen passes vs bull rushing defenses?

We need quality OL & WRs in the worst way. But the OC leaves a lot to be desired too.
