Just looked them up individually for the first time.

Now, 247 Composite is what we've all grown accustomed to using most bc it averages all the major rankings. In Carters case, though, something doesn't make sense.

247 Composite has him as the #7 RB. But I kept noticing that the actual 247 rankings have him as the #18 RB, with the lowest score they give a 4*, a 90. (Swift is a fraction under 98, which would be a 5*)

Well, OK, 247 itself isn't that high on Carter, but the other services must really have him up there if his Composite is #7, right? Well, no. Here's his rankings from 4 services:

#9 Scout
#10 espn
#15 Rivals
#18 247

So how does he get a Composite of #7? Just weird. I don't mean to knock Carter in any way. Wish he was still coming, hope he kills it at Texas. Just don't understand the math here.

For comparison, Swift is #4 Composite, but his individual rankings are #4, #6, #4, #4... so that makes sense.
