His boneheaded substitutions - particularly early in the 2nd half - lost the game. Oakland makes a couple buckets to start the 2nd half, then Ogbeide scores our first points after the break and Fox immediately benches him for Edwards. About a minute later he brings in Geno for Parker, then Kessler for Maten (who had only 3 fouls at the time). Oakland immediately goes on an 8-0 run to take the lead, and never looked back. Ball game.

Overall, Edwards played 19 minutes, and Geno and Kessler 10 each. That's a total of 39 minutes and they combined for a whopping 4 points. No way those guys should have gotten that much playing time - especially when Oakland started going on that run. Maten didn't get into foul trouble until later, as Fox sat him when he only had 3 fouls.

These are the types of losses that will keep us out of the tournament, and it's totally on Fox. We've got head and shoulder better players than Oakland, but they don't do us any good on the bench. Just a frustrating game to watch.
