Kirby: Signed #2 transition class & #1 first full class ever...


("ever" meaning at least back to the early 2000's, where 247 has gone back to figure composite rankings)

Only Meyer @ OSU had a higher transition class, and he had 2 full stops as a HC under his belt & 2 National Championships on his resume.

Kirby follows that up with the best first full class.

A 300 score isn't even achieved at all some years. This class would be #1 overall in the country several times the past decade.

There have only been, (iirc from a stat I saw earlier today) twelve 300 point classes in the last decade. 9 of those are by Saban & Meyer (with years of HC experience & multiple NC trophies). 1 is by Brown @ Texas (also a NC under his belt), 1 by Sark @ USC, and now Kirby. This class is on a level with experienced Champions & HOFers.

#1 rookie HC recruiter ever.
